Meet the team

Who are we?

Our team are:~

All our team are CRB / DBS checked. We have a wide team based all around the country; please see below for personal profiles of our key players:

Patricia – Director

PS webPatricia brings a deep knowledge of business founded on her early years of her working life in a successful career in sales and management within the consumer goods industry, working for household names such as Procter & Gamble, Gillette and Coca-Cola.

She went on to develop her passion for people and her consulting business now works with individuals and organisations to help them become more effective, particularly around their interactions with others (communication, influence, selling and presentation). Patricia’s brings a wealth of knowledge of training and learning at all levels.

She believes that core commercial skills such as the ability to communicate well and to interact effectively with others, to articulate your point of view persuasively are the foundational skills needed for successful lives and are vitally important to all to help them move forward to where they want to be. She believes that in combining a strong behavioural, psycho-educational approach with commercial and practical skills and engaging delivery means Eureka is uniquely well equipped to help people progress in their lives.

 

 Wendy –Operations Manager

Wendy

Wendy is the Operations Manager responsible for the back office and the smooth running of the Eureka operation. Her background and training is as a chemist so she has a great eye for the detail and complexity of the operation. She liaises with the awarding bodies we partner with and manages much of the qualification administration as well as keeping the rest of the team in line!

 

Richard – Facilitator

Richard spent 36 years as a teacher, specialising in the use of Information Technology in education. More recently he was manager of a City Learning Centre, developing innovative uses of IT in learning and education, including Ipads, PSPs and smartphones. Richard has helped us develop our innovative programmes with both young people and the unemployed and is a regular facilitator on Eureka programmes.

 

Chris – IT expert and facilitator

Chris was an IT Manager at a City Learning Centre and has developed and implemented innovative, flexible and advanced approaches to learning using IT in schools and education centres.  He now helps our young people create videos to market and promote themselves, to help them gain a greater sense of self belief.

 

 

Jana – Facilitator

Jana has over 18 years experience in training within both Corporate and Public Sectors. Her background in Sales and Service, within such companies as the renowned Trusthouse Forte Group and Courtaulds Textiles, enables her to deliver workshops with knowledge, intelligence and a full understanding of the business environment.

Jana has been involved in the Education sector for the past 8 years, actively encouraging Enterprise and Business Skills from Primary up to Sixth Form.

Jana believes a good trainer ‘entertains’ their delegates, enabling a relaxed environment through a fun and facilitative approach. She is an interactive trainer with a passion for guiding others to reach their full potential. A qualified assessor and adult trainer as well as a First Aid instructor she offers a broad and diverse range of experience.

Katie – Facilitator

KatieKatie is a highly experienced learning and development professional working as trainer and coach for over 30 years. She was an early pioneer of customised training and coaching. She specialises in management, leadership and sales and has a client base in the corporate sector as well as extensive experience working with charities, young people and apprenticeship programmes.

 

 

Tim – Facilitator

Tim has over twenty years experience as a successful salesman, communicator and motivator.  The foundation of that success is his flair for developing effective relationships with clients and colleagues alike, from shop floor to boardroom.

In 2002 he took the decision to marry these talents to his love of performance and build an equally successful career in the world of entertainment. He spent two seasons learning the business from the ground up before branching out as a touring cabaret in his own right. For the last four years he has been slightly over half (by weight) of a highly acclaimed comedy double act.

He is ideally placed to pass on both his business and performance skills in a structured, informed and engaging way, and is firmly committed to Continuing Professional Development in the Lifelong Learning Sector.

Sarah – Facilitator

Sarah’s background is as an actress, and she now works as a trainer of actors. She is a highly experienced and highly qualified voice coach holding a masters degree from the Central School of Speech and Drama.

She also works with corporate clients, voice coaching senior managers, and as the mother of teenagers has a great empathy with and understanding of young people.
