Pre-NEET

Programmes for “Pre- NEET” young people

This programme is particularly designed for young people aged 14-16 who are still in school and in danger of disengaging and hence not getting any qualifications, which in turn makes them likely to become ‘NEET’ (Not in Education, Employment or Training) when they leave school. This programme is about prevention rather than cure. The purpose is to help schools / PRU’s re-engage these young people to enable them to participate at this critical life stage, to gain at least minimum qualifications and to gain valuable life skills. The programmes are bespoke and designed to fit the needs of the client, which can be schools, offenders institutions, councils or other agencies.

The programme can cover any or all of these type of topics:

We feel that none of these topics can be particularly successful in themselves without addressing some often core elements around behaviour and attitude so learning on this topic is woven through any programme we run.

We deliver these programmes using methodologies that engage young people so we use games, we use technology, we use drama and a whole range of innovative approaches to keep them interested and stimulated.

We have fun!
