Herts Youth Futures

Eureka are proud to be partnering with HAFLS (Hertfordshire Adult and Family Learning Services) on the Youth Futures programme.

The project is part of the ‘Building Better Opportunities’ programme funded jointly by The Big Lottery and the European Social Fund. This funding is to be used to tackle the root causes of poverty and unemployment, such as physical and mental health issues, homelessness, addiction and much more.

Eureka will be specifically working with young people, 15-19 (21 if care leaver), who face barriers to employment or continuing education.  We will help them with one-to-one support and mentoring to gain work experience, boost their skills and increase their confidence to gain employment or further training.  The support the young people get will be tailored to their needs and what they would like to progress on to.

The following video describes the STRIVE project in more detail,  A generic leaflet covering all 3 projects is available here.
